Garden Grove, CA Mortgage Refinance in California

We make it easy to get the lowest mortgage refinance interest rate in Garden Grove, CA.

Our loan specialists can customize a loan that is perfect for your needs. In no time at all, Garden Grove, CA residents can be on the way to a lower interest rate, a lower monthly payment, or switching from an adjustable rate mortgage to a fixed rate mortgage.

When Should I Refinance?

The best time to refinance is when interest rates in Garden Grove, California drop below the rate of your current mortgage.  With a lower interest rate, you'll save money on your mortgage payment every month.  Be sure to read our article titled Reasons to Refinance Now.

Turn Your Adjustable Rate into a Fixed Rate

With adjustable rates on the rise Garden Grove, CA residents can benefit greatly from refinancing your home for a low fixed rate.  These benefits include a lower monthly mortgage payment, and the security of knowing your mortgage payment won't increase.

Cash-Out Refinancing

Using the equity in your home, you can refinance your mortgage for a higher amount than your current principal balance and receive the extra funds as cash.  You can use this money however you would like, including, remodeling your home, paying off high-interest rate credit cards, paying off student loans, or consolidating all your debt.  How much cash out you can receive by refinancing depends largely upon the principal balance remaining on your mortgage and the amount of equity in your home.

Eliminate PMI

Private Mortgage Insurance is usually required if your downpayment on your home was less than 20 percent.  If your home equity has increased since your purchase, you may have enough equity to elimate that PMI payment by refinancing your mortgage.

Save Thousands in Interest

When you refinance your home you can decide to switch your mortgage to a shorter term, such as 10, 15, or 20 years.  Depending on how much lower the refinance rate is, you will likely pay more per month for this shorter term home loan.  However, in the long-term you are saving thousands in interest.  And because more of your monthly mortgage payment goes towards the principal, your home equity will increase much quicker.

How did the Democrats blow it in Garden Grove?

The Democratic Party of Orange County had a great chance to pick up a seat or two on the Garden Grove City Council. One seat was being vacated by termed out Democrat Mark Rosen. The other was filled by an incumbent in Steve Jones who was appointed to his seat. How did the DPOC blow it and end up with two Republicans winning these seats?

Well, for one thing the DPOC endorsed Paul Lucas. That one is really hard to understand. The guy can't hold a job. He got in bed with Van Tran in order to get revenge on Supervisor Janet Nguyen for not appointing Lucas to a County Commission. And the DPOC endorsed him? What the Hell were they thinking?

Memo to Janet and Van - we are tired of your political machines!

Failed Garden Grove City Council candidate T. Linh Ho may be young, but she has figured out why almost all the Vietnamese candidates in Orange County lost on Nov. 4 - "People are tired of all this negativity."

"In Orange County, 13 Vietnamese Americans vied for different offices from state assembly to sanitary district. Only two incumbents - Rep. Van Tran (R-Garden Grove) and Garden Grove Unified School District Trustee Kim-Oanh Nguyen-Lam won their respective elections," according to the O.C. Register.

Orange County Election Update

It's getting close in the SAUSD School Board race, where the latest figures from the O.C. Voter Registrar show that Roman Reyna is now only 78 votes behind Valerie Amezcua, for the third seat on the School Board. I am sure that regardless of the outcome when the final votes are tallied, there is bound to be a recount.

Meanwhile, Andrew Do is running away with the second open seat on the Garden Grove City Council, as he has now vaulted over Robin Marcario by about a thousand votes. I am still pulling for Robin but this one doesn't look good. Will the Teamsters and the DPOC ever realize what a mistake they made in backing the unqualified candidate Paul Lucas over Marcario?

Absentee ballots change Garden Grove, Westminster council races

Andrew Do, a Garden Grove City Council candidate who was trailing behind Robin Marcario in third place, has now taken the lead and the second council seat securing 15.6 percent of the votes.

Andrew Do pulls ahead in Garden Grove Council race

I just checked the new numbers from the O.C. Voter Registrar of Voters - and Andrew Do, who is O.C. Supervisor Janet Nguyen's Chief of Staff, has pulled ahead of Robin Marcario. There are still quite a few more paper ballots to count, so we will see what happens. If Do wins, then both Council seats in Garden Grove will have gone to Republicans and the Democrats will have been punked again. Nice going Paul Lucas! Way to tank the whole ticket.

If Do prevails, there needs to be a recount. I want to know where all these late paper ballots came from. It sounds like voter fraud to me.

Only two Vietnamese candidates won in Orange County on Nov. 4

I reported earlier this week the astounding news that Robin Marcario had defeated two well-funded Vietnamese machine candidates, Trung Nguyen and Andrew Do. But the news for Orange County's Vietnamese candidates gets worse. All of them lost on Nov. 4, except Assemblyman Van Tran, who barely defeated an unknown, underfunded Democratic opponent, Ken Arnold, and over in the Garden Grove School Board race, incumbent Kim Oanh Nguyen Lam barely won.

Over in Westminster, Van Tran acolyte Truong Diep, who was heavily funded, got trashed, coming in well behind Frank Fry and Peggy Loomer, in the City Council race. And fellow Trannie John Nguyen came in dead last in the Garden Grove School Board race.
