Killingly Stabbing Victim Recovering, Police Say
A 25-year-old man stabbed multiple times late Sunday is recovering at UMass Memorial Health Center in Massachusetts, state police said. The victim, identified as Mitchell Bourkue of Moosup, is in guarded but stable condition, police said. He was stabbed multiple times in the torso during a fight with another male on Central Street near the Citizens National Bank, police said. Bourkue was taken to Day Kimball Hospital in Killingly and then flown to Massachusetts, state police said.
