Celina, TN FHA Loans in Tennessee
FHA loans differ from conventional loans in a number of ways. The down payment required for an FHA-insured loan is usually much lower than for conventional loans. FHA loans also have lower credit requirements than conventional loans, making them more available to a wider range of potential homebuyers.
FHA loans offer Celina, TN residents several other valuable benefits, not least of which is those aforementioned smaller down payments. Unlike a conventional loan, which ordinarily requires 10-20% down, FHA-insured loans only require down payments as low as 3-5%. The FHA is also more flexible in calculating factors to determine whether or not to approve the loan, factors such as household income and repayment ratios.

Hilham man indicted for soliciting sex
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 PUTNAM COUNTY -- A 20-year-old Hilham man has been indicted by the Putnam County grand jury for allegedly soliciting sex from juvenile girls. Justin Patrick McGarvey of Overton County was arrested May 9 when Putnam Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Joe Nash served him with a pick-up indictment from the grand jury based on evidence presented there by Detective Jimmy Patterson. The indictments charge McGarvey with three counts of solicitation of a minor. The case began last December when a Putnam County mother reported to Deputy Cpl. Jerry Dale Abston that her 15-year-old daughter had been receiving "illicit messages on her cell phone," says a report by the deputy. "The messages were about meeting and wanting to have sex. The messages also want her to send some pictures of herself," the report says. The girl told the deputy she had met the person who was sending the messages at church. "I asked her if he touched her or anything, and she said no, because when she sees him he is with his wife."
