Somerset Once Again Rescues a Homeowner

Somerset Investors Corp. is once again coming to the rescue of a homeowner who suffers the devastating effect of escalating debt and foreclosure.  Such was the case of Scott and Amy, described here in a letter of thanks Scott wrote to Somerset.  “Our family would like to thank Somerset Mortgage Bankers for getting us out of foreclosure.  Without your help we do not know what would have become of our family.  When we first called, we were in Chapter 13 bankruptcy for several reasons.  Our bank failed to escrow our taxes and wanted thirteen thousand dollars, plus interest, after they made the lump sum payment. We couldn’t pay.  Then my wife had shoulder surgery and then went in for an emergency surgery the day after Christmas followed by my son blowing out his knee playing soccer.  With my wife unable to work and the bank demanding payment, we fell seriously behind on all our bills.  Our attorney suggested that Chapter 13 filing would be the best option.  We were directed to pay $700 per month to a trustee for 48 months.  As a result of a misunderstanding as to when the payments were to begin, we started getting threatening letters from the bank.  At this point we called Somerset.”
