Henry A. Baca
Henry Aragon Baca, 67, of Reserve, N.M., entered eternal rest Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M. At the family's request, cremation has taken place under the direction of Baca's Silver City Crematory. A prayer vigil began at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at the Santo Nino Catholic Church in Aragon, N.M., led by Father Jeff King. A memorial mass began at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at the same church. Henry was born Sept. 10, 1941, in Cruzville, N.M., to Henry M. and Pablita (Aragon) Baca. He was a communicant of the Catholic Church.

Helen Davila
Helen Davila, 83, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at her home in San Antonio, N.M., surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1925, near Aragon, N.M., to Henry and Josefita (Castillo) Carrejo. Helen was devoted to the San Antonio Catholic Church, where she served for many years as Marydomo and taught CCD classes. She was a very caring and giving person and would deliver food to those who were homebound and would pray for those in need. She was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Davila; brothers: Ramon and Mike Carrejo; brother-in-law, Phil Chavez; and granddaughter, Mary Helen Davila.

Paublita Gutierrez
Paublita Padilla Gutierrez, 85, a lifelong resident of Aragon, N.M., entered into eternal rest Monday, May 5, 2008, in Aragon. A prayer vigil was at 6 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, led by Juan Aragon. A funeral mass was Saturday, May 17, at Santo Nino Church. The rite of committal and internment was at the Aragon Cemetery. Paublita was born Jan. 26, 1923, in Aragon, to Lorenzo and Marcelina (Romero) Padilla. She was employed by the Senior Program and Goodwill Industries of New Mexico in Reserve, N.M.
