Elizabeth E. Miller

Elizabeth Elayne Miller, 69, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M., following a courageous battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Elayne was born Nov. 22, 1939, in Logan, N.M., to the late Rex and Irene Miller. She attended McAlister Grade School and Tucumcari High School and graduated from high school in Big Spring, Texas, in 1958.

Elayne is survived by her son and his wife, Marvin and Kitty Martin of Magdalena, N.M.; her daughter, Michelle Smith of Artesia, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Martin, both of Albuquerque, Luke and Nathan Martin, both of Magdalena, Bill, Melissa, and Christina Smith, all of Artesia; two great-grandsons, Aiden Martin of Albuquerque and Javirius Solmone of Artesia; sister Patricia (Miller) Cross of Canyon Lake, Texas, and three brothers: RC Miller of Tucumcari, Mac Miller of Lake Meredith, Texas, and Gary Miller of Roswell, N.M.
